In a general sense, I can act as a guide and informant on the legal process, and hopefully give you a sense of ownership over your case and material.   By learning to manage your own affairs and effectively present your issues, you will feel like you’re on the inside of the process, rather than the outside looking in.

In terms of material preparation, my speciality lies in organizing your information and documentation in a manner specifically tailored to assist your lawyer and judge, regardless of which direction your proceedings may take.  Whether in settlement discussions, mediation, or court proceedings, your material will be ideally suited to a quick resolution. In particular, I specialize in:

Chronology Briefs, which include:

• Gathering and compiling information and chronology of events relevant to the family and the matters in issue
• Issues, concerns, and proposed resolutions set out in a comprehensive chart
• List of questions to ask your lawyer and judge
• Documents in support of the information contained in the Chronology Brief

Financial Statement Briefs, which include:

• Assistance in preparing an accurate and well-organized draft Financial Statement
• Assistance in gathering supporting documents required for Financial Statement, a tedious and forensic process
• Consolidating final draft Financial Statement and all supporting documents into streamlined brief format, for the easy review by your lawyer and the judge
