With thirty years combined experience in the legal industry, both in a personal and professional capacity, I have explored it firsthand from every possible angle. Whether as a client, a self-represented party, or working intimately with lawyers and organizing their practices, I have been involved in every facet of the legal process. As a result, I am intimately familiar with its intricacies, and uniquely qualified to assist and guide others through their proceedings.

My experience includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• As a family law clerk, collaborating with lawyers on file and court preparation, attending (with lawyers) mediations, arbitrations and court proceedings, and extensive preparation of evidence/document briefs.
• As a family law client, working side by side with my counsel to prepare for and attend court proceedings.
• As a self-represented party in family law proceedings, preparing and submitting my own material, including affidavits, motion records, case conference briefs, and settlement documentation, ultimately leading to Superior Court proceedings and successful settlement negotiations.
• As a paralegal, assisting clients with organization and preparation of evidence for meetings with their lawyer, Small Claims Court proceedings, and matters involving Children’s Aid.
• As an organizational consultant, managing and restructuring lawyers’ practices.
• Various other matters, including extensive dealings with the Family Responsibility Office and the Office of the Children’s Lawyer.
